Tonight was the Smart Piano Teachers (Stacy & Lindsay) had their annual Christmas Piano Recital for their students. We had several students from our ward. Two of their students are in our YW. Madi and Chelsea. Both of them did really well performing their piano pieces. We were also privileged to hear from the Smartee's Group as they called themselves and they performed a piece called the Unique Love Story about PB&J sandwich that was really cute.

The treat committee.

For combined YW activity this week we did impromptu skits. We were divided into two groups. Each group went looking through the church for items for the other group to use in their skit. The first skit was Mary Poppins and the second one was a day care. We only had five minutes to prepare the skits and the perform them. They were quite entertaining, even with the short time we had to prepare. Then Patti and Alison made popcorn and Orange Julius for our treat. All in all we had a fun time together!

YW & YM Tied Together Dinner

Our YW and YM had a combined activity on Wed. at the church. They choose a number out of a pumpkin and had to sit in the assigned chair with that number on it. Next they each put on a garbage bag, with cutouts for the head and arms to keep them clean. Then they were tied to their neighbor(s) with pipe cleaners and they had to eat their dinner tied together. Everyone had to work together to eat their dinner. They all had a fun time! The Beehives cooked the dinner and the Deacons were in charge of clean-up and they did a great job doing the dishes!
